Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatment

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment combats different skin conditions, disorders, and pigmentation issues. Short bursts of broad-spectrum light are used on the skin’s surface to remove scars, hair, or acne. It does not penetrate deep enough into the skin’s layers to cause any tissue damage, focusing solely on the upper layer of the skin. There are a variety of conditions IPL can treat, including:
  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Broken capillaries
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Spider veins
  • Hair removal
  • Excessively oily skin
  • Psoriasis
Intense Pulsed Light is administered through a specific laser treatment device that requires hours of training and expertise to perform correctly. IPL continues to advance to provide the opportunity to help patients with their skin problems and concerns. As this technology continues to improve, it will be one of the most effective treatments for most skin disorders out there. Schedule a consultation to determine if IPL is the right treatment option for you.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation
  • What is an IPL treatment?

Intense pulsed light, or IPL, uses light to treat skin problems, particularly pigmentation problems, and rejuvenate the complexion. Short bursts of broad-spectrum light are used on the skin’s surface to remove scars, hair, or acne.

  • What skin concerns can IPL treat?

    IPL treats:

    • Sun damage
    • Hyperpigmentation
    • Age spots and freckles
    • Spider veins
    • Redness and rosacea
    • Vascular lesions
    • Texture problems
    • Fine lines
  • How does IPL work?

IPL delivers brief pulses of a broad spectrum of light wavelengths. This process helps the skin in two ways. The wavelengths absorb excess pigment in the skin (reds and browns) to restore a smoother and even complexion. On a smaller scale, IPL stimulates collagen production to improve overall skin tone.

  • How much time does the treatment take? Will it hurt?

Treatment time depends on how much of an area is being treated. However, on average, the treatment lasts anywhere from 20-45 minutes. IPL is virtually painless. Most clients report a mild pinching sensation.

  • How long is the recovery time after treatment?

No skin is removed during treatment with IPL, and it typically requires little to no downtime.

  • How many IPL treatments will I need?

We recommend anywhere from 2 to 6 treatments for optimal results, depending on the skin conditions being treated.

Sublime Skin Tightening

Skin loses elasticity, and collagen production decreases as we age. When combined with the effects of gravity, this unfortunate part of aging can lead to sagging skin on the neck, eyelids, jowls, and wrinkles and folds in the face. Sublime treatment is used to correct this laxity loss and tighten the skin, giving a more contoured look. In addition, it works to restore and induce new collagen for a more natural defined face and neck. Millions of women are concerned about developing a double chin, turkey neck, or a sagging jawline. If you are one of them, sublime treatment may be the right treatment for you. The sublime treatment uses bi-polar radiofrequency energy and infrared heat to break through the dermal layers to stimulate new collagen and elastin. It is non-invasive and provides such natural results that it simply appears that you have firmer, tighter, and smoother areas.

Results are visible after one sublime treatment, but you can continually see optimal results as extra collagen is produced.

Even after the completion of treatment, your skin will continue to build collagen. Most patients see results from Sublime skin tightening for years.

Sublative Skin Rejuvenation

Sublative treatment works to resurface the skin using fractionated bi-polar radio frequency that penetrates deep into the dermal layers of the skin and stimulates the production of new collagen. The machine head is made of numerous multi-electrode pins that deliver radiofrequency energy to the skin using a grid-like pattern treating on a fraction of skin in that area. The untouched skin surrounding the multi-electrode pins is where the healing process begins, and the new collagen is produced. Sublative treatments are great options for those looking to improve skin texture, acne scars, brown spots, wrinkles, fine lines, stretch marks, or enlarged pores. It is proven to be effective on hyperpigmentation, sun spots, or age spots. The result is a softness and smoothness that lasts and appears at least two weeks after treatment. As more time passes, your skin will continue to improve and become more rejuvenated as you watch surface imperfections and uneven texture fade away!
  • What is Sublative Skin Rejuvenation?

Sublative Rejuvenation treatments use radio frequency to deliver an effective but controlled electrical energy to the skin to gently resurface skin while producing Collagen and Elastin to reveal tighter, smoother, and brighter skin. Sublative skin rejuvenation has also been referred to as eMatrix laser skin resurfacing.

  • How long is the recovery time after treatment?

While Sublative is minimally invasive, most patients experience redness and mild swelling immediately after the procedure, which may resolve in a few hours, but could last for several days depending on the client.
